What is the age limit to participate in project?

The project is open to young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 years. This means that applicants have to be between 18 and 30 years old when they join the project.

Do I need to have specific skills to take part in project?

We are looking for people who are interested in personal development and want to  become involved in our project. We do not require any specific skills to take part. We do however look at participants’ motivation, potential and determination. It is important for us that you want to develop yourself in areas such as methods of working with groups and management of social projects.

Do I need to have insurance coverage?

No, we do not require you to have your own personal insurance coverage in order to take part in our project. If you don’t have one, we will provide it for you.

Do I have to pay for anything?

No. We provide everything for all participants – free transportation, accommodation, food, insurance & the training.

Will I get receive any document or certificate after completing the project?

Youth leaders taking part in the mobility program will receive the Europass Mobility certificate upon completion. They will also receive a letter of recommendation from their supervising trainers which they can use as a reference when applying for various jobs.

Is the project available to students with special needs?

The project is open to people with special needs. The project aims at promoting equity and inclusion by facilitating the access to learners with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities compared to their peers, including people with mental, physical, sensory or other disabilities.

When does the project recruiting process start?

Each exchange will have its own recruiting process. Right now we are recruiting for the exchange in Poland. We will start recruiting for the following exchange in Slovenia in January.

When does the project recruiting process finish?

You can apply to take part in the exchange in Poland until the end of August.

In what language can I apply for the project?

The application can be submitted in either Polish or English.

How many participants will take part in the project?

During each international training a total of 16 persons from all countries will participate (4 from each country, 64 total in the project).

In what language will the methods be presented?

The methods taught in the project will be presented in English. The participants should have communicative language skills in order to fully participate. In addition we will have many bilingual and multilingual persons participating in the project which will help bridge any arising gaps between disadvantaged youth and other participants.

Can I resign from the project without any consequences?

A justified resignation from the project will not bear any consequences, but unjustified resignation will disqualify you from participating in any of our future projects.  Please consider your application carefully, especially given that the first trip overlaps with the start of the academic year.
